Machine monitoring & OEE

Know exactly how much your machines actually run

Real-time utilisation, downtime and OEE for SME manufacturers. A sensor clips around the power cable—no PLC integration, no rewiring, no IT project. Works on any machine, any age, any brand.

How It Works

Three steps per machine. Your own electrician fits the sensor, we handle the survey, commissioning and calibration.

1. Clip It On

A split-core current sensor clips around the machine's power cable. Nothing is cut, nothing is rewired, and the machine controller is never touched.

2. Connect It

The monitoring unit mounts on DIN rail inside the cabinet. It needs power and a network connection. Around ten minutes per machine.

3. Measure It

Live status appears the same day. Within a week you have your first real utilisation figure and a downtime Pareto.

One Dashboard for the Whole Floor

Live status, utilisation trends, downtime causes and shift timelines—from a desk, a phone, or a screen on the shop floor.

Live machine status showing running, idle and stopped machines

Live machine status

Every machine on the floor, running, idle or stopped, updated in real time. Spot a stopped asset before the shift meeting rather than after it.

Downtime Pareto chart ranking causes of lost hours

Downtime Pareto

The top causes of lost hours, ranked. This is the chart that tells you what to fix first, and the one that usually surprises people.

Utilisation by machine ranked across the floor

Utilisation by machine

By machine, cell or shift. Compare assets side by side and see whether an improvement actually held or quietly slipped back.

Production timeline showing machine states across a shift

Production timeline

The shift replayed as a strip of states. Find the pattern behind a bad day instead of reconstructing it from memory the next morning.

What makes us different

We don't stop at the chart

Every monitoring vendor gives you a Pareto. Almost none of them help you act on it. Our founder is a mechanical engineer with a Six Sigma Green Belt, so the improvement work sits alongside the software.

  • Baseline captured before any change is made
  • Actions tracked against the downtime cause they target
  • Before and after hours shown per action
  • Utilisation trended weekly so gains are proven, not claimed
  • Changeover reduction, line balancing and standard work available as a service

Works on any machine

If it draws current, we can tell you how productive it is. Because we read the power signal rather than the controller, machine age and brand stop mattering.

No controller access

Nothing touches the PLC or CNC control. No risk to the machine, no OEM warranty question, no IT project.

Two sensors per machine

One on the power incomer, one on the main drive. That is how we separate powered-on from actually working, so warm-ups are not counted as production.

Calibrated on your floor

Every machine has a different current signature. We set the thresholds on your machines rather than shipping a guess.

Spare inputs included

Free inputs for a proximity switch or photo-eye where you want a true part count rather than run time alone.

Mixed fleets welcome

CNC, presses, injection moulders, extruders, conveyors, packaging lines, saws, manual machines. A 1980s lathe is often the best candidate.

Two seconds from operators

Utilisation and downtime are automatic. Operators only tap a reason when the system detects a stop.

Start with a 30-day trial

Find out what your floor actually does before building a business case, not after.

30-day Trial*

Two machines of your choosing. Hardware, install support and calibration included, plus full dashboard access. At the end you get your real utilisation figure and a downtime Pareto, and a clear view of whether this is worth doing across the floor.

* Terms apply. The trial month is free when you continue on a 12-month agreement, in which case you pay for the remaining eleven months only. If you decide not to continue, the trial is charged at £250. You are never obliged to continue.

1

Site survey

We walk the floor and agree which two machines to instrument.

2

Install & calibrate

Your electrician fits the sensors, we commission and set thresholds.

3

30 days of data

Live dashboard from day one, with weekly check-ins.

Review

We sit down with your numbers and agree what is worth doing next.

Find out what your machines actually do

Most factories guess their utilisation is around 80%. Measured, it is usually closer to 50%. Two machines, thirty days, free with an annual agreement.
